open quality (opens chat.fhir.org)
Will the project join a January Connectathon focused on shared libraries (CRMI-based), with the 69 shared libraries and further measures published for testing?
— The summary says nothing here.
A participant agreed to a January Connectathon focused on the shared-libraries question. The project is listed on the CQL community projects page. The 69 shared libraries and any ready measures will be published on openquality.us for testing. A read-only MCP server at openquality.us/mcp was also announced, returning measure CQL, provenance, known interpretation issues and the CRMI Bundle with commit references. No change to the CQL or CRMI standard was proposed or agreed. New: a Clinical Reasoni
Participants are invited to give input on the proposed Clinical Reasoning authoring scenario for the Open Quality repository.

2027 Measurement Period CQL for FHIR based Measures (opens chat.fhir.org)
Should the 2026 measure version (effective 01/01/2026 to 12/31/2026) be used through 2028, or is 2027 CQL hosted somewhere other than MADIE?
Implementers may be unsure which CQL version applies to the 2027 measurement period for FHIR-based measures until a clarification is posted.
No answer yet. The participant reports that MADIE lists published FHIR measure CQL with effective periods for 2026 and 2028 but none for 2027.
A reply from the measure owners or CMS on whether a 2027 version exists or which version applies in 2027 is pending.

Clinical Reasoning Track (opens chat.fhir.org) · chat quiet
None explicitly asked. A participant asked that updated JavaScript engine results be included in the report-out as appropriate.
The cql-tests issues and the FHIR-59288 spec issue may lead to test expectation corrections and clarification of Date arithmetic overflow semantics in CQL, but nothing is decided yet.
Tracker FHIR-59277 posted for $cql trace. PRs submitted: cql-tests-runner PR 137 (updated JavaScript CQL engine config) and cql-tests-results PR 10 (latest JavaScript engine results). Two issues filed against cql-tests: #153 (decimals over 8 places not necessarily invalid) and #152 (wrong expected output for properly includes/included in at boundary values). One CQL spec issue filed: FHIR-59288 (ambiguous semantics for Date arithmetic overflow). No decisions recorded; thread ends with thanks.

Links open the source, which asks you to sign in if the discussion needs it. This page shows the newest entries the feed returns, not a complete archive. Summaries, including the Impact sentence, are written by a model from the discussion and say so until they are reviewed; they name no one. Stages, Impact categories and Jira statuses come from the thread and from HL7 Jira, not from a work group's formal record. A discussion whose chat has gone quiet stays listed while its Jira items are open or moving.
